Eleonore “Yasha” Kopera | Co-Founder + Investor Relations

Yasha manages Communications and Investor Relations. She holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs with a focus on International Media and Communications. Yasha's career spans more than two decades in international relations at the United Nations, where she produced substantial communications output, including UN Secretary-General reports and talking points, speeches for UN Ambassadors and senior UN staff. She also developed and implemented numerous communications strategies and public outreach campaigns for high-level events, International Day commemorations, global conferences and on pressing thematic issues such as counter-terrorism, human rights and refugee situations. Prior to the UN, Yasha was the Managing Director at the Business Humanitarian Forum, where she led a multi-million dollar public-private sector project in Afghanistan and made presentations to donor countries, multilateral development aid agencies, universities and at Ministerial meetings. Throughout her career, Yasha has raised substantial funding for a variety of economic development projects involving multi-stakeholder partners. She also worked on corporate governance issues, regulating business behavior in crisis zones and post-conflict countries and is a strong believer in ethical business practices.
