Azienda Agricola Gaudioso

Partanna, Sicily

Grower Website

The Gaudioso family owns and operates a farm in Partanna, a small commune in southwest Sicily, using biodynamic techniques to grow grapes and olives and also raise sheep in a cruelty-free way. Their deep bond with- and respect for nature has led them to abolish the use of synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides, instead managing the land following natural cycles. The only additions in the vineyard are green manure, compost and the biodynamic preparations to replenish and nourish the soil, using only copper and sulfur when needed to address illness.
